DIY Hintergrund

Guten Morgen meine Lieben 🙂

Pets @ MMM

Good morning y’all ♥
Make My Monday is back with a new challenge for you – this week we’d love to see your „PET“ creations 🙂
that’s right .. scrap a photo from your lovelies or unpack your stamps or designer paper featuring cute dogies, cats, or whatever you like 🙂
Also, check out the design teams creations – they are awesome!
I used a rather old stamp by Paper Smooches – I’ve had that one FOREVER but still love those cute and chubby animals:)  .. I also tried something new – for me, a watercolor background .. didn’t quite turn out as great as I hoped but I’ll keep trying J

Happy Monday ♥

Watercolor..

.. clean and simple, white embossing, pink .. ♥
For our new Make My Monday challenge I created this card using the beautiful Stampin‘ Up! flower stamp „Birthday Blooms“ – this beauty is simply perfect for coloring, right?
I used some white embossing powder to heat emboss it in watercolor paper and then I started coloring – it’s not something I do on a daily basis so I’m not an expert but I do love how it turned out 🙂 A clean and simple card in one of my favorite colors ♥
Hope y’ll like it and hop over to our challenge and play along 🙂

watercolor ornament

On page 15 of the current Holiday Catalog is a wonderful card. When I first opened the page I was stunned by the watercolor effect, the colors, the layout.
But .. that was a couple of months ago .. and only a couple of days ago I found the time and courage to try this very card, and I must say, I love mine as well 🙂
I used some ink, a spritzy tool, water, and gave it a try .. I tried for about an hour LOL and all the ornaments looked different, that’s what I love – unique cards! I also stamped some tiny stars with my Versamark ink pad – you can hardly see them – but I like it that way 🙂
